C&C 37 Foot
I am interested in the 37 and wondered what your thoughts and experience was.

It's a simple love affair. Ok I'll get serious. The C&C 37 i=51 j=15.5' is rated as a blue water racer/cruser and it lives up to that rating. There are two good write-ups on the web C&C sailing club and the Photo Album. http://www.cncphotoalbum.com/ and I agree with both of them. On a personnel note the boat is fast in light air and in heavy air. It will sail to its numbers (phrf 108). It has 6'5" headroom in the main cabin and I'm 6'4", hard to find that head room in that size boat and price range for a racer/cruser. It has a large cock pit and it's easy to sail. I club race and give the C&C 40 fits. C&C did a comparison between the 37 and 40 and had favorable things to say about both boats but found the 37 faster in heavy air. It may not be as fancy inside as some of the others but for a racer/cruser that's approx 17 years old it's a gem. I moved up from a C&C 29
II also a fun boat.
