Fractional rig. 4 berths and little else. On a reach or run it was basically a 30 foot rocket ship - and would frequently peg the meter at 17 (+?) knots. Unfortunately, the mast tended to be a bit on the willowy side and being a very light hull, it did not point well into the wind. I believe new sails would have helped (they were 10 years old). Just the same, I owned the boat for 2 years and enjoyed every moment on the water with it. The greater the wind the greater the fun. Best cruise was the last one - in which we sailed from the Thames River on Lake St. Clair to the mouth of the Welland Canal for the next owner. 35 hours and 5 minutes was all she took to sail the westward-southward-eastward journey of 240 n.m.
