The C&C Landfall Ketch is a beautiful center-cockpit yacht. I searched for a quality liveaboard cruiser for a year and a half and found exactly what I wanted in this one. I have no regrets. She has a spacious interior with a 34'5" LWL, 12'7" beam, a 5'6" draft and a generous 6'2" headroom, even in the walk-through to the aft stateroom! She carries a 58hp Westerbeke diesel with which I have had no problems.
She is easy to handle, light lee or weather helm, but that can be taken care of almost completely with sail trim unless in wind speeds over 20 knots. Very nice accomodations inlcuding a large aft stateroom and plenty of storage space. Also, aft head has separate shower stall which is very roomy for me(5'10", 170lbs.). Forward stateroom also is more than most guests would expect.
The C&C Landfall 43 is a good combination of a fast cruiser type of center cockpit ketch and has goo accomodatons and performance undersail with a reasonable draft within her size range. C&C was one of the original builders of cored hulls and is considered a quality stock builder noted for strong construction an reasonable cost in their stock production vessels.
Feel free to email me with any questions. I have been living aboard since I bought her.
