Owner's Review for the 1973 C&C 35 Mark I

Design: Classic C&C Racer/Cruiser

Key Features: Speed, sailing qualities, easy handling, good storage. We've added many custom features including gas-fired hot water, boxes to hide instruments, electrical control panels, built in tool boxes etc.

We've also repowered twice

Strengths: Sailing qualities as described above, comfortable boat for two people to cruise but still fast enough to enjoy racing & be competitive. Layout is very workable under a variety of conditions. Construction quality is excellent.

Weaknesses: Small galley area, limited water capacity (fixable), Ice box is too close to engine.

Overall: We've owned this boat for 17 seasons & cruised extensively from Nova Scotia to Virginia. It is an excellent cruiser for 2-4 people and we would recommend one highly to anyone looking at boats in this size/price range. We've re- placed/upgraded almost every system on the boat and have lots of experience in maintaining this boat.
