Owner's Review for the 1973 C&C 30

Racer-Cruiser, sloop rig, Fin keel/rudder, overlapping 150% genoa. Smooth underbody, swept keel & rudder design makes for a fast boat. Very good handling in tight harbors. Likes heavy air, easily achievs 60% wind speed. Good cockpit & deck layout for racing crew. Tall prow - minimizes spray, usually dry cockpit, stout rigging. Oak tree for mast. Responsive helm. Minimal light air sailing("drifter" chute can help). Can pound in certain conditions, bulkheads will loosen-up(not taped to deck). In love with boat. Made many modifications to enhance satisfaction.
